where they genetically modify the strawberry specifically to produce more pleasurable aromas. This is awesome, and it makes you wonder how far GMO's can go with fruits/agriculture. A lot of people are afraid of GMO's, and see them as "unnatural", when in reality, modifying fruits and veggies to produce more yield, or produce better flavors, can only be a good thing.
If you could genetically modify a specific fruit or veggie, what would it be? And what traits would you add or take away from it?
Personally, I think I'd love to modify the Watermelon to add more sweetness, a bit more pulp, and infuse it with more of a strawberry/apple flavor.
