OK, so this is the one that got me into DIY in the first place. There used to be an amazing juice I vaped every day for over a year called Faerie Wings, by R&R Vapor. I really want to develop a replacement for it, but the company shut down over a year ago, so I'm essentially trying to clone a memory.
The profile for this juice was a Rich Taro & Coconut Medley Blended With Creamy Milk Tea. It had a strong earthy base from the taro, with a creamy, milky sweetness like a boba milk tea, and a light, toasted coconut highlight laced throughout.
I've tried an abundance of creamy coconuts, but most of them land somewhere between a colada and a suntan lotion. I can't figure out how to make it "lacey" and light, but still keep it present.
Taro is really hard to work with. It usually goes bitter before you get that strong, earthy taste. TFA Taro is definitely better than FE, but it still reacts badly with most of the coconuts I've tried.
I think TFA Black Tea works better than any green tea I've tried, but I can't figure out how to make a milk tea with it. After all, it was a milk tea, not a milkshake or a custard.
Please reply if you have any notes or experience with any of these profiles. I'd really love to come up with a base I can tweak and experiment on.
