For a couple of years I have been using a hazelnut flavor from a German company to add dryness to the aromas of tobacco and nuts. Actually, as hazelnut flavor it was completely useless. It has absolutely no taste, but neither is it harsh or toasted. It is totally neutral and only provides dryness to liquids, which makes it ideal as an additive to reduce sweetness and wetness. Unfortunately I ran out of the flavor and it is not sold anymore. That's why I'm looking for a substitute.
If someone knows of some type of aroma or additive with similar characteristics, I would be grateful for the information.
